Cancelloxus elongatus, known commonly as the whiteblotched klipfish in South Africa,[1] is a species of clinid in the genus Cancelloxus.[2] It is a subtropical blenny found around South Africa, in the southeastern Atlantic Ocean.[2] It was named by P.C. Heemstra and J.E. Wright in 1986,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 5 centimetres.[2] Blennies in this species feed primarily off of zoobenthos.[4]
